Guidance on Ladies Golf and Tennis Clothing sizing

We show sizing guides for all ladies golf and tennis clothing products but due to the very extensive range we offer we strongly encourage customers to contact us by phone if they have any queries regarding sizing of individual garments.  We do find that there can occasionally be some size variations within a brand for the same item in varying colours.

We have found that allocating standard size descriptions to specific brands can be fraught with problems so please bear this in mind when reading the generic comments below for individual ladies golf brands which are intended for guidance only rather than being the definitive description for every garment within a given brand.

DAILY SPORTS - generally closer fitting with a slimline cut. We recommend if you are between sizes please go up a size.

GREEN LAMB - neutral sizing overall but bear in mind the fashion focused ranges offer a slightly slimmer cut than the capri trousers, bermuda shorts and full length trousers from their 'Essentials' range. Green Lamb offer an excellent selection of Size 20 Clothing.

GLENMUIR - variable from neutral to generous sizing depending on the garment. Most bottoms are neutrally sized, some winter wear such as ladies windlined sweaters, waterproof rain jackets and ladies windshirts can be more generously sized. However, some gilets such as the 'Poppy' range are closer fitting.

CALVIN KLEIN - very close fitting and tightly cut, especially ladies skorts, shorts and capri trousers.

SUNDERLAND - waterproofs are slightly on the generous side; bonded wind jackets are closer fitting.

CALLAWAY - Neutral sizing but some of the larger sized Callaway Skorts can be closer fitting. Please call us for further clarification.

LYLE & SCOTT - neutrally sized including KM322 Trousers. Other Trousers are tighter, closer fitting.

JRB Golf - Variable; some ladies trousers and capris are closer fitting but the best selling 'Elegance' range of Ladies Shorts, Capris and Full Length Trousers are neutrally sized. All rollnecks are neutrally sized but specific windlined sweaters can be generously cut.

CUTTER & BUCK - generally generously sized.

ASHWORTH - generally generously sized.

PJ's Ladies Trousers - neutrally sized. Available in size 20.

SPORTLEIGH - neutrally sized.

ALICE COLLINS - neutrally sized.

VALERIE HERMAN - between closer fitting and neutrally sized.

CAPECREST - generally generously sized.

Please note that all American Ladies Golf Clothing brands such as Callaway, Ashworth and Cutter & Buck are shown in UK sizes throughout our website. 

Guidance on Ladies Headwear sizing

We show sizing guides for all our ladies and unisex hats where applicable. Many of our hats come in one size with an adjustable internal or external drawstring that allows you to vary the size. To obtain your head size, place a tape measure on your forehead, positioned above the ears ensuring you measure the widest part of your head.

Guidance on Ladies and Unisex Sunvisor sizing

Our Flexi Sun Visors, Push on Sun Visors and wraparound Sun visors naturally expand and contract to adjust to your head size.

Guidance on Mens Plus Four and Breek Trousers sizing

Our Mens Plus Four and Plus Two Golf Trousers are all neutrally sized so please select your normal waist size. If you are purchasing our Jack Orton Mens Tweed Breek Trousers we have found in recent seasons that these can sometimes be a little on the tighter side. Therefore we'd recommnd that you size up if you believe you are between sizes.
